Mata Ortiz to You (MOTY) is the sole distributor of jewelry made from contemporary MO pottery shards and .950 Taxco, Mexico, silver hand crafted by Agustin Torres Beltran, a Nahuatl Indian.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind and totally hand-formed. Agustin began working with silver when he was 10. His father taught him, and they continue to work together in a small workshop above Agustin and Luz Marie’s bedroom.
Because each piece is unique, the images here are past examples of Agustin’s designs and silverwork. Just contact us for our current, ever-changing inventory.
Since this jewelry has such a personal appeal, we include a marketing kit with each first order. It contains several items to be used in your sales display as well as information for your sales staff and your customers. And each piece comes with a story card for provenance.
